Within a couple of hours of Stockholm-Västerås airport there are a number of manor houses dating back to the 16th to the 19th centuries, built by the nobility or successful businessmen. Today many of them offer companies conference facilities where they can arrange internal meetings. For private visitors they offer a very pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy some of life’s little luxuries, a romantic week-end with good food, a spa, clean air and other pleasures.
