Further up the road
If you are prepared to hire a car at Stockholm-Västerås airport and drive 380 km, about 4 hours, you will be rewarded with a challenge that will have adrenalin rushing in your body and water rushing past your boat as you go white water canoeing; or you can have fun and another challenge abseiling on the adventure course. Rafting or regular canoeing on calm water offer more peaceful alternatives.

White water canoeing
The river “Trysilälven” rises in Lake Femunden in Norway. It has fallen 360 metres by the time it reaches the Swedish border, where the Trysilälven becomes the Klarälven. Impressive stretches of rapids alternate with sections of calmer water, all against a backdrop of the mighty Trysilfjället, with seemingly endless forests and small villages. We equip you with Canadian canoes for two people including covers. You paddle unescorted.
